The 2017 Ghost Clare Valley Premium Shiraz is brilliant red in colour with youthful crimson hues. Lifted flavours of red fruits, dark cherries and liquorice, beautifully wrapped up in subtle toasty French notes. Sculptured natural tannins and quality French oak char adding to the wine's already impressive length and complexity. Will easily improve in the cellar for another 12 to 15 years.
This wine won't blow your head off. It is a full-fragrant wine that is a pleasure to drink by itself or with a nice piece of grassfed scotch fillet. Please decanter and put in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving to appreciate the full flavour profiles of this wine.
