The 2019 Ghost Clare Valley Pinot Gris is pale straw in colour with the nose of granny smith apple, Japanese pear and hints of cinnamon spice. Palate is quite lithe and linear with a good touch of natural acidity. These grapes were sourced from a very cool part of the Clare Valley. This is a wine that will easily reward with 3 to 4 more years of careful cellaring.
This wine is a perfect match for spicy food like Thai or Indian but can also be enjoyed by itself.
