2014 CV Chardonnay

Made from a single vineyard north of Watervale, hand picked and forty years old vines. Fermented and aged in a blend of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.

Appearance : Pale straw with youthful green tints.

Nose : Fresh notes of orange blossom, nectarine and white peach predominate the nose, assisted by subtle French oak nuances.

Palate : Melons, lemon curd and peach flavours marry in with involved pert acid highlights and creamy French oak componentry. A bright and zesty table wine complete with a classic textural quality.

Alcohol : 12.5% v/v

Cellaring Potential : 10 – 12 years.
